Job Description

  • Co-own, maintain and evolve infrastructure automation platforms and solutions together with esteemed colleagues. Be an integral part of the whole team
  • Focus on enabling the self-service capabilities for your colleagues within the Infrastructure Reliability Engineering department as well as the rest of the organization
  • Define department-wide software engineering technical approaches, architectures, standards and practices as part of the one or more guilds
  • Work by FP/OOP principles and promote code re-usability, readability and standardization
  • Make your code clean and document it, so that the others (or yourself in a few months) do not need to reverse-engineer it
  • Embrace and spread the automation-first approach and philosophy
  • Stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
  • Become the go-to person for any frontend software development and engineering related matters

Skills Required

  • Developing web applications using Angular.
  • Experience with:
    • JavaScript
    • TypeScript
    • HTML
    • CSS, SCSS, LESS or similar styling language
    • NgRx, NgXs, Akita, Redux or similar state management system
    • Consuming and designing RESTful APIs.
    • Continuous integration, delivery and deployment workflows.
    • Agile in close collaboration with business and designers.

Nice to have:

  • Basics of SQL
  • DevOps experience:
    • Linux (RHEL8)
    • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
    • CI/CD (Drone, ArgoCD)
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA
  • Knowledge and experience with adopting modern software architectural patterns (e.g. microservices)
